How do I contribute media to a Production?

What is uploading?

When you upload media, you transfer a copy of the file from your computer to CG. If the file is large, uploading may take some time. Once you upload a file to CitizenGlobal, it becomes part of your Media Library and you may use it in the Editor and submit it to as many productions as you like.

What is submitting?

When you submit media to a CG production, you are taking a file you have already uploaded and contributing it to a production. Submitting a file to a production is usually a quick process. Once a file is submitted to a production it must be accepted by the production owner before you will be able to share it. Most productions have specific criteria for the media they are seeking and what they will accept.

There's an orange banner above my submitted media saying I can't share it, why?

When you submit a file to a production it must be accepted by the production before you will see it displayed in the production gallery and before you can share it with your friends. An orange banner above your media file indicates that is is waiting to be approved. The approval process can take varying amounts of time. Productions often have a formal acceptance process: be sure and check for any guidelines before you submit your file.

Why was my media denied?

Your media may be denied for many reasons. Uploaded media may be denied if it is suspected of violating CG's Community Standards. Submitted media may be denied simply if it doesn't meet the requirements or tastes of the production owner. If your media is denied you should receive a message stating why.
